We’re looking back on an incredible early Spring Saturday morning at the School for Performing Arts.
On Saturday 5th March, Maxine Mealey at Wigan & Leigh College hosted the Orwell Society and special guest Richard Horatio Blair along with a gathering of Local Businesses Owners, Councillors, Charitable Sector Leaders and Creatives.
Producer Alan Gregory, Singer, Actor & Songwriter Scott Chapman, Director Martin Green and their talented group of actors put on a performance to remember with their Preview of ‘Beyond the Pier’.
Extracts of the show provided the audience with an exciting glimpse of what’s in store from the full production.
Beyond The Pier’ is the vehicle for the MadeInWigan Minis Creative Education Programme.
Ahead of the show, a beautiful solo dance routine by a young performing arts student was followed by a presentation delivered by Stuart Green, Owner at Magicalogical Ltd accompanied By Alan Gregory, CEO of Pianos, Pies & Pirouettes. Together, they shared the educational vision of MadeinWigan Minis and it’s ‘Levelling Up’ aligned ambitions.
