Golborne & Lowton West Voice

A community group called Golborne and Lowton West Voice (known as The Voice) has been designated by the council as a Neighbourhood Forum to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the Golborne and Lowton West area.

The designated Neighbourhood Area is the same boundary as the Golborne and Lowton West Ward.

Both the Neighbourhood Area and Neighbourhood Forum have been designated for a period of five years ending on 4th October 2024. Following this decision no other organisation or body may be designated for the neighbourhood area until the designation expires or is withdrawn.

Are you someone or have you identified someone who might benefit from becoming involved with WLCC or any of our initiatives such as Made in Wigan?

There are various ways that you can get in touch to take things forward.

It may be that you want to make contact to first find out if there really is a ‘fit’.

You may want to speak on the phone, come and visit us on behalf of someone, or maybe you’d like to bring someone along for an initial chat.

Whichever route you prefer we can accommodate.
